About Eventably
Eventably is an innovative events management and ticketing platform tailored to meet the diverse needs of conferences, conventions, trade shows, community events, and performing arts events. Our platform is designed to support in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, providing event organizers with the tools they need to create seamless and engaging experiences for their audiences.
We are on a mission to capture a share of the $20B Total Addressable Market (TAM) in the events management and ticketing space, with a Specific Obtainable Market (SOM) goal of $55M. With a planned launch in March 2025, Eventably is currently bootstrapped and funded through a loan from the CEO. We are also exploring options for additional funding, with a focus on VC funding post-launch.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our founding team. As the CRO, you will play a critical role in driving Eventably’s growth by leading our revenue generation strategies, with a particular focus on enterprise sales to large corporations. You will be responsible for developing and executing the sales, marketing, and customer success strategies necessary to achieve our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with Eventably’s business goals and market opportunities, with a focus on securing enterprise clients in the events industry.
- Sales Leadership: Build and lead the sales organization, with a focus on creating scalable processes, sales methodologies, and team structures that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to define and implement a go-to-market strategy that effectively communicates the value proposition of Eventably to target markets, including conferences, conventions, and trade shows.
- Customer Success: Establish and oversee a customer success function that ensures high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities, driving long-term value for Eventably’s clients.
- Partnership Development: Identify and develop strategic partnerships that can accelerate growth and expand Eventably’s reach within the industry.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive revenue growth.
- Funding Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other members of the founding team to explore and secure additional funding, including participation in investor pitches and discussions with potential VC partners.
- Founding Team Contribution: As a key member of the founding team, contribute to the overall strategy, culture, and direction of the company, ensuring alignment with Eventably’s mission and long-term vision.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in leading enterprise sales, particularly in the B2B SaaS or events industry, with a strong network of contacts in large corporations.
- Experience in early-stage startups, with a demonstrated ability to create and implement processes, strategies, and teams from scratch.
- Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success functions, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience working with funding processes, including VC funding, is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to wear multiple hats as needed.

Compensation
This is a co-founder role for a bootstrapped company. We use the Slicing Pie Methodology for allocating equity split. The CRO role will have a compensation basis of $200k. Post-revenue compensation will use that compensation target.
