1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Acceptable Use & Content Policy (“AUP” or “Policy”) sets forth the rules, standards, and guidelines that govern User use of Eventably’s platform, products, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using the Eventably Platform, each User agrees to comply with this Policy in addition to our Terms of Use and other applicable policies. This Policy is designed to ensure a safe, inclusive, accessible, and lawful experience for all Users while protecting the integrity and reputation of the Eventably Platform.
This Policy applies comprehensively to all Users of the Platform, including event organizers (“Organizers,” “Customers”), event attendees (“Consumers,” “Attendees”), and visitors, regardless of their geographic location or the nature of their interaction with our services. Compliance with this Policy is mandatory and non-negotiable for continued access to the Platform.
2. PROHIBITED CONDUCT AND CONTENT
Users agree not to use the Eventably Platform for any of the following prohibited activities or to post, upload, transmit, or distribute any content that falls within these prohibited categories:
Illegal Activities and Criminal Conduct.

Events that involve or promote illegal activities under any applicable jurisdiction are strictly prohibited.
Hate Speech and Discriminatory Content.
The Platform prohibits content that promotes, incites, or facilitates hatred, discrimination, harassment, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristic. This includes but is not limited to racist rhetoric, religious intolerance, homophobic or transphobic content, disability discrimination, and extremist ideologies.
Violence and Terrorism.
Content that threatens, glorifies, promotes, or incites violence, terrorism, self-harm, or harm to others is strictly prohibited. This includes content that provides instructions for creating weapons or explosive devices, promotes terrorist organizations or activities, glorifies mass violence or school shootings, or threatens specific individuals or groups with violence.
Harassment and Bullying.
The Platform prohibits bullying, stalking, intimidating, threatening, or harassing others through messages, images, event content, or any other means available through the Platform. This includes repeated unsolicited communications, doxxing (publishing private information), revenge harassment, cyberbullying, and targeted campaigns designed to degrade, shame, or harm individuals.
Adult and Sexual Content.
Content that is sexually explicit, lewd, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience is prohibited. This includes nude or partially nude images, sexual services or escort advertisements, adult entertainment events, and content that sexualizes minors or promotes sexual exploitation.
Misinformation and Deceptive Practices.
No User shall publish, disseminate, or promote demonstrably false, misleading, or deceptive information that may cause harm to public health, safety, democratic processes, or public trust. This includes medical misinformation, election fraud claims, conspiracy theories that promote harmful actions, and fraudulent event listings designed to deceive attendees.
Intellectual Property Infringement.
Content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others is prohibited, including unauthorized use of copyrighted materials, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, or other proprietary content. Users may not upload or distribute copyrighted music, images, videos, or text without proper authorization from the rights holders.
Platform Misuse and Technical Violations.
No User shall engage in activities that compromise the security, integrity, or performance of the Platform, including hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, distributed denial of service attacks, malware distribution, unauthorized access attempts, circumventing security measures, or scraping, crawling, or collecting User data without explicit consent and authorization.
3. CONTENT MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT
Proactive Monitoring.
Eventably reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, review, and evaluate all User activity and content on the Platform. We may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, and human review processes to identify potentially violating content and ensure compliance with this Policy.
Content Removal Authority.
Eventably has the absolute right to remove any content, event listings, User accounts, or other materials that violate this Policy, our Terms of Use, or applicable laws, regardless of whether such content has been reported by other Users. Content removal may occur immediately upon discovery and without prior notice to the User.
Account Enforcement Actions.
Violations of this Policy may result in a range of enforcement actions including content removal, temporary account suspension, permanent account termination, restriction of Platform features, prohibition from creating new accounts, and cooperation with law enforcement agencies when criminal activity is suspected.
Appeals and Review Process.
Users whose content has been removed or accounts have been suspended may request review of the enforcement action by contacting our support team. All enforcement decisions are made at Eventably’s sole discretion, and we reserve the right to maintain any action taken regardless of User appeals.
Reporting Violations.
Users are encouraged to report violations of this Policy by contacting our support team with detailed information about the violating content or behavior. We investigate all reports promptly and take appropriate action based on the severity and nature of the violation.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION AND DMCA COMPLIANCE
Copyright Protection.
Eventably respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects Users to do the same. We maintain a comprehensive Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) compliance program to address copyright infringement claims promptly and effectively.
DMCA Notice and Takedown Procedure.
Copyright holders who believe their work has been infringed on the Platform may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent at dmca@eventably.com. Valid notices shall include identification of the copyrighted work, location of the infringing material, contact information, a good faith statement that use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the complaint is accurate, and the complainant’s physical or electronic signature.
Counter-Notice Process.
Users whose content has been removed due to a DMCA claim may file a counter-notice if they believe the removal was erroneous or resulted from misidentification. Counter-notices shall include identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was wrong, consent to federal court jurisdiction, and the User’s contact information and signature.
Repeat Infringer Policy.
Eventably maintains a policy of terminating accounts of Users who are repeat copyright infringers. Users who receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices or demonstrate a pattern of infringing behavior will have their accounts permanently suspended.
Trademark Protection.
Users may not use another party’s trademarks, service marks, trade names, or brand identifiers without proper authorization. This includes using confusingly similar marks, creating misleading associations with established brands, or attempting to profit from another’s brand recognition.
User Content Licensing.
By uploading content to the Platform, Users grant Eventably a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for Platform operations, marketing, and compliance purposes. Users retain ownership of their original content and are responsible for ensuring they have rights to grant such licenses.
